Daytona Beach is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Daytona Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The Bayshore has everything, including a stellar riverfront location … a walk to the beach, easy access to major freeways. But most of all, it’s the complex itself. Well managed, well maintained, and full of friendly, kind residents. Living at The Bayshore is like being at a 5-star resort, 24/7, with pickleball, heated pool, tennis, pool tables, ping-pong, a great party room for a calendar of fun social events, steam room, workout rooms, shuffleboard, fishing dock, card room, library -- even places to garden, if you like. No wonder so many people look so happy so much of the time.

I thought these were called Bayview Towers, forgive me if I have the wrong location. Anyway, my friends condo (900sq ft) is the smallest unit - 1 bed 1 1/2 bath. They are old and decor is outdated so all 5 residents I am friends with are doing or have done some renovations. And it’s worth it, if only for the location. And the residents are friendly - older so not a party bunch. The back facing units have stunning views of Halifax River, a short distance from a huge bridge. Dolphins play, sunsets are amazing and, for the brave, you can paddle board, canoe, kayak, etc. The front facing can see Daytona Beach in the near distance. Obviously, it’s only a short walk or bike ride to the central beach. Another draw is the affordable price many are going for; condos like this in, say, New Smyrna, would be a couple times more!

I called the office inquiring about leasing and Wendy was so horrible. She is by far the rudest person that I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I was very interested in this particular building but her awful service has eliminated any hopes of me wanting to live there.
